To access the housing register applicants must have lived continuously in the Cannock Chase Council area for the past 12 months.
Applicants must meet this requirement and be 16 or over.
Applicants who live outside Cannock will only be considered if requesting Sheltered Accommodation and who have a close relative who has resided within the Cannock Chase Council area continuously for 12 months from whom they need to receive support or are an Existing Social Housing Tenant and need to move to the area for work ) Please see the Allocations Policy for more details
Do not use this form if you are already registered and wish to tell us of a change of circumstances please collect a Change of Circumstances form from the Housing Office.
You will need to complete this form in support of an ACTIVE mutual exchange if requested to do so by the Allocations Team.

Should you save your application, you will only be able to retrieve your application for the following 28 days.

Cannock Chase Council and Stafford Borough Council are under a duty to protect public funds and, to this end we may use the information held or provided by you for the prevention and detection of fraud. We may also share this information with other bodies including credit reference agencies, for these purposes and also for the administration and collection of taxes and charges and for performing other statutory enforcement duties.
Tenants are reminded of the conditions detailed in Sections 3.1 and 3.6 of the Cannock Chase Council Tenancy Agreement which states 'You agree to live in your home as your only or main home and keep it secure', 'You agree not to part with possession of or sub-let the whole of your home'. Tenants found breaching these conditions may be prosecuted under the Prevention of Social Housing Fraud Act 2013.
